LAND READY FOR DEVELOPMENT

The last full week of July was filled with progress toward seeing the much anticipated construction draw closer.  As shown above, the new site for the church is ready for development.  On Wednesday of this week the last two of fourteen contingencies were met with the removal of the packed car lot and the adjacent fence.  Of course that meant three late evenings with Reiko, our real estate agent, as we put the final touches on the closing contract.

Then on Friday morning, 27 July, each of the three land owners met us at the bank with Reiko, her boss and real estate lawyer.  Two hours later each of the previous land owners walked from the bank just as satisfied as we were with the contract coming to a close.  Koza Baptist Church is now the proud stewards of the land the Lord brought us to in order to build the new church.  Below are the key personnel involved in the final payment.
