Meets on Wednesdays at 5:45pm for all Jr. High Students.
The name Trek embodies the belief that the Christian walk is not a weekend or one night assignment, but a trek that continues throughout every hour of every day. This is for 6th through 8th grade boys and girls.
The goals of Trek include:
1) Encouraging students to be in the Word of God
2) Explaining salvation and encouraging students to trust Christ.
3) Encouraging students to think biblically.
4) Encouraging students to continue or begin to develop a biblical worldview.
5) Encouraging students to understand who they are in Christ and what a believer’s spiritual identity really means.
6) Instilling the confidence of Christ in students.
7) Developing curriculum studies based on relevant topics that teach a relationship with Christ and biblical thinking.
Developing curriculum that is activity-centered; and training students to witness to Jesus Christ, using lifestyle and words.
