People were created by God for the purpose of permanent fellowship, including conversations, with Him. Sin caused our relationship with God to be strained, not because of his perfection, but because we became imperfect as a result of sin. Adam and Eve unsuccessfully hid from God and we try to hide from Him too when we don’t pray.
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 (ESV)
Prayer is a conversation between you and God where you talk to God and listen to what God is saying to you. The Bible reminds us time and time again that as you pray God hears and answers prayer. Koza is a body of believers who pray fervently, and we pray that the Lord aggressively grows the active number of praying members in our body at Koza and in churches around the world. As a follower of Christ, you are called to pray and God uses prayer to transform lives, relationships, families, and beyond. Prayer is essential to a Christian in order to experience true fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6
