MARRIAGE MINISTRY
Would you rate your marriage as a 2 or a 10? Maybe even a 0? You are not alone. Whether your marriage needs to be reignited or is in need of a complete resurrection, re|engage is a safe place for couples to reconnect. Re|engage starts weekly with a large group setting. During this time, we will focus on principles for marriage growth; listen to testimonies by couples who have experienced victory in their marriage; and connect through prayer with and for one another.
When Large Group concludes, couples move into Small Groups. Couples have different destinations depending on which stage of the re|engage process they are in. There are 3 stages:
- Newcomers is for first-time attendees to re|engage. At Newcomers, your leaders will share some of their marriage story, explain the re|engage process, and discuss your next steps. ** This is a safe environment for you to come & hear what re|engage is all about. No one will ask you to share.
- Open Group is for couples that have attended Newcomers and are not yet in a Closed Group. Open Group is a great place to begin working on your marriage. ** Each week will feature teaching and discussion on different marriage topics. At this time, you will have the opportunity to begin sharing some of your story at your own pace. You will also begin learning the value & ground rules of participating in small groups.
- Closed Group consists of 4-5 participating couples and a facilitator couple who will walk through the 16-lesson re|engage curriculum together. ** Closed Groups are formed when there are enough couples ready to join a Closed Group, and a facilitator couple is available. You will not be placed in a Closed Group until you have indicated that you are ready. Once formed, no new couples are added to the Closed Group.
Marriage Ministry will meet on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00pm starting with our large group fellowship in Koza’s Worship Center for approximately 30 minutes. Break up into small groups will immediately follow with: Newcomers and Open Group taking place downstairs while all Closed Groups will meet upstairs in designated rooms.
There will be a $60 registration fee due once you have decided to commit to a small group (Open or Closed), which helps to cover the cost for your participant guides and childcare.
Childcare (ages 6 months - 12 years old) will be provided by reservation.
